My Brother MFC-J885DW will not print wirelessly from my MacBook Pro. It will print with a USB cord.

My computer is telling met that the "printer is not connected." However, everything that I've looked at is telling me that there IS a connection. A) I can print from my phone, B) when I establish a connection between my WIFI and my computer it is successful, 3) the WIFi symbol on my LCD screen shows full bars...

I have uninstalled and re-installed the necessary drivers...

HP CP 2025 ghastly colours

Hi!



I wonder if the experts can assist me with this one please?



I bought two HP CP2025 colour laser printers cheap - the seller said they were taking up too much space, but when I finally got them setup I discovered that wasn't the only issue!



Both of them have the same problem, in as much the colours are really ghastly, they are strongly over-saturated with blues, greens and cyans and reds/oranges and yellows are a bit wishy-washy!



Is this a "toner dust on mirrors" problem that...

Epson XP 950 and XP960 both put vertical lines on Photo prints

My 950 started putting these thin vertical lines on photographic prints several weeks ago. They were approx 1 inch apart and it looked like they were produced when the paper was advanced in steps as printing went on. Epson tech support on the phone concluded that my printer was beyond repair and I bought a 960 to replace it. Hi,
There are no indicator lights showing above the Ethernet port at the back of the printer. Should they be normally on all the time?

I have tried 3 different ethernet cables in case a cable may have been damaged.

For the past few days, I have not been able to print as the printer showed as ‘offline’. Prior to this it worked perfectly for the past few years. Kyocera won’t help as it is out of warranty.

The printer was connected by cable via the Ethernet cable to my router. Netgear...

Scanning from ricoh\lanier to a Windows 10 home version

Usually it wont even allow you to see a computer if its windows 10 home that you are trying to scan to, but I saw for myself other computers in their offices that were scanning to windows 10 home. Is there a way to get it to scan on the home edition?

How does the printer choose which black ink to use when it has pigment and dye based black ??

I just ordered a Canon iP4500, which has two black cartridges, a dye based
one and a larger pigment based one, for text.

When you print out a page that is mostly text, but has colour on it as well,
does it still use the pigment based ink? What about if you print out a
colour map from Google Maps, for example? What about a PDF file of a
magazine page, which is text, but with a light coloured background (maybe
with a pattern)?

Would it just use the dye based ink for these types of page,...

How do I combine keywords in the field "Keywords"?

Example:
Suppose I am looking for a posting on a hp color laserjet printer 2500n printing blank demo pages.
How do I find all postings with the word "hp" and also the sentence "blank pages"?
(In a programming language you would be using an AND operator often written as "AND" and also often written as "&").

I have noticed that searching for "hp blank pages" it doesn't find a posting with "hp 1320 feeds blank pages". However if searching...

I got an older OKI c610.

USB port not working, is it possible to print over fax/phone line?

Hi, this is my first post so don't mind me if I make mistakes.

I have a samsung M2675F printer. I had a problem with the toner. I called printer service they tried to fix it and it worked couple days now the USB port is not working anymore. It cannot connect to any pc (many cables/pcs tried). Is it possible to use the fax/phone line to print documents. I use the printer to scan since it have scan button. The printer only have USB port and phone/fax, no lan port. I also tried to find and...

Not a biggie, but just something to consider ...

The website allows avatars, although I found it difficult to get one installed, and then change it. There seem to be two menu items for dealing with Avatars, but only one really works ... sometimes.

Also, small Avatars at 100x100 seem more of a relic of the past with less storage. How much of a problem would it be to allow larger resolution, as long as the file size is under 64kb? I've got a 420x420 .gif that is only 6.5kb.

Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to read, I tried to keep it short:

Since last week my Epson 9890 gives me the wrong colours ( magenta/reddish cast) and all attempts to fix this or determine the cause have failed so far.

So I am hoping someone can recognize this and help me.

I need to replace our Canon Pixma MP250, which is now "dead." I liked the simple operation and nice quality printing. I make greeting cards, so the replacement printer must feed cardstock easily. I also print documents, but rarely do I print photos. I am looking for simple operation. reasonably inexpensive, reasonably priced ink, and a printer/scanner/copier 3 in 1 to use with a desktop computer. I have read reviews, but they are only causing confusion! What do you recommend?

Windows 7 Brother ADS-2200 The Device is busy TW1-205

We installed a new Brother ADS-2200 scanner last week. This week the user is getting the error, "The Device is busy. After the current scanning operation is completed, please try again. TW1-205". There is an "OK" button to dismiss that dialog (dialog title: TWAINDS32). This doesn't happen on every scan, but does so with annoying frequency.

The "current scanning operation" is complete. All pages have been scanned and loaded into the application. Allegedly, the user is unable to click...

Hi all !

We recently acquire a Accuriopress C2060 printer from 2017.
All seems to work at the first look, we can see the printer on our network, we are able to send files in the printing queue from multiple pcs (both windows 7 and ubuntu).
We are also able to connect to the Fiery printing queue server with the Fiery Workstation software and by web.
But when the printer receives the file, the printing task is directly canceled.

Artisan 1430 Print Head issues

My Artisan 1430 is a like-new machine. I use it every week, but for one or two sheets. I like this printer because it can do the large print sizes, which I use once-in-awhile to print large heat transfer paper to make my own custom printed tshirts.

This past week, I noticed a problem with magenta. It had white lines when printing solid color.

Hi,

first of all I'm not a native speaker so please apologize any difficulties to express what I really mean.

Bought a used Lexmark MX511 and it worked all fine. I upgraded the firmware to the latest version. All went fine, but after the first reboot after updating the printer says:

"toner cartridge empty, 0 pages left" (this is my translation of the original german error message, not the actual message.)

It says additional [88.38] which is the error code, I assume.

Kyocera Taskalfa 3011i Error C6250

Hi All
My brand new (55K copies 91 days old)Kyocera taskalfa 3011i is giving error C6250. I only came to know that this is because of faulty Fuser unit (FK-7105). Please help me to resolve the issue without replacing the Fuser unit (As only fuser unit is not available, I have to buy maintenance kit only which is too expensive i.e. almost 75% of new machine cost)
Please help me to resolve the issue.
Sometime machine gives error within 5 Mins or sometime within 5 hrs.

This error seems to be about an sensor which needs to be cleaned. I have spent now quite some time in trying to find out where this sensor is to be located. Factory Reset for Ricoh SP 213w

Hi,

I've recently changed my router and therefore my SSID. My 213w is still attempting to connect to the old wi-fi network. How do I reset this? The manual says to use the Web Image Monitor and select "Reset Network Settings", however as it's not on the network I can't do that.

Any help please?
