My printer error alerts 5B00, or has stopped printing and refers to Canon service. This service charges only for making the budget more than the cost of the printer, so even think about using their services. I have tried to reset with the indications according V3400 ServiceTools but it is not effective. Can you do something else or another solution is not to throw away the printer? Can you get the printer firmware?
