Ricoh 301SPF not receiving faxes when in sleep mode

Hi there,

So i recently acquired a Ricoh 301SPF and know little to nothing about faxes/printers....

We only receive a few faxes a week, and it is not used for anything else other than faxes. It seems though it goes into a sleep mode and will not receive a fax. People who try to send us faxes say they just get a busy tone. I head over to the fax and press the blue sleep/power button and it cranks up out of sleep mode, press the on hook and its engaged. Wait about 1 minute and then try it...
