HL-L2300D

I'm having problems with double-sided printing on my Macbook with the HL-L2300D (it works fine with Windows 10 on another machine). The second page (and also the fourth etc) irrespective of whichever program I am using prints completely wrongly with the text shifting to the right and a series of horizontal lines. The Macbook has all updates installed. If I don't use double-sided printing then the second page prints fine on a second sheet of paper.
