Brother MFC - J3530DW scan colors are off

Hello,

We have a new MFC - J3530DW printer. Software installed and test for printing is fine. However scan colors are off i.e i can see rainbow like colors on the scan results. Like i said normal printing is fine with no anomalies but scan colors are off. I have attached an image of a scan.

Any ideas of what could be the problem appreciated.
