Epson 280 replacement

My R280 has a waste pad problem according to Epson. Tried local repair service and they are out of business. I liked the R280. Mostly did dvd's and cd's printing. R280 is discontinued and the ones on ebay and Amazon are ridiculous priced at almost $300 plus ink. What would be a good replacement for my R280? Thanks for any ideas.
