Ink cartridge jammed

I'm trying to install the Epson XP760 and all was going well until I inserted the ink cartridges. I got a message to say they were not installed correctly so I tried again. Unfortunately I must have pressed one cartridge down too hard and now it's jammed, resisting all attempts to release it.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so how can I solve it? A speedy response would be very appreciated.
