I have just updated my Apple Laserwriter II NTX to a IIG by swapping the IO board so I could use it with Snow Leopard 6.3 on my IMac. When I start up the IIG now, it prints a test page and goes to solid green, so the printer is working fine. My problem: I can't get it to set up as a printer through my Print utility. I have a Farralon Ethernet to AAUI Ethertalk adapter AND a Farralon ethernet to Apple talk bridge. Neither one works. I've tried a bunch of IPs but nothing connects. Any ideas?
